Sister Sylvia - thank you for sharing your blessings and your insights. π«ΆπΎππΎπͺβ¨πͺΆI learn so much each time I read your gifts of writings.
I listened to this meditation today and I have a question because it's hitting me in a space that I'm uncertain about. Do you have capacity to help me understand it better? I'm not sure if the uncomfortabilty with it is due to my own barriers or if maybe clarity from you can provide guidance. What's rubbing me the wrong way is that I've never encountered any human who had been able to recite the full truths of your meditation with each "never." I'm thinking of Brother Miguel Ruiz's guidance of "be impeccable with your word." And as a human being who has faltered and makes mistakes, it feels hard to truthfully recite every line in your meditation with "I've never..." And so I'm wondering is the purpose for us to lie to ourselves as a way to manifest truth? Or is the purpose for us to only recite these truths if we are the select few who has truly never done any of those? Is there an alternative recording that allows fellow lay people like me to relate to your mediation to meet us on the path of where we are...like "I strive to, or I seek to..."
Beautiful writing and such wisdom.
